New JAE leadership highlights funding connections, industrial clusters and incubation as priorities for Odisha entrepreneurs
Bhubaneswar, November 4, 2026: Dr. Nandiki Gangadhar Reddy has
been unanimously elected President of the Juggernaut Association of
Entrepreneurs (JAE), bringing renewed attention to green technology, industrial
development and practical support for entrepreneurs in Odisha.
Connecting ideas with infrastructure For first-generation entrepreneurs, a promising idea is only the beginning. Establishing a business can require suitable land, finance, technology, skilled people, suppliers and market access. Dr. Reddy's priorities include stronger institutional funding connections, industrial parks, sector-specific clusters and incubation facilities—areas that can help connect entrepreneurial ambition with practical implementation.
Why industrial clusters matter Industrial clusters can bring related businesses, suppliers and service providers closer together, making it easier to exchange knowledge, build partnerships and access specialised services. Incubation can complement this infrastructure by helping entrepreneurs evaluate business models, prepare project documentation and understand operational and financial requirements. JAE can explore how its network might help members access such support.
Green technology as a business opportunity Green entrepreneurship offers potential opportunities in sustainable construction products, recycling, waste utilisation, resource efficiency and other environmentally responsible industries. Dr. Reddy's professional work in green construction and manufacturing technology gives him relevant experience in connecting technical solutions with business implementation. The commercial success of such enterprises, however, depends on reliable technology, market demand, sound project economics and appropriate financing.
Outgoing President calls for participation Outgoing President Sri Janardhan Sahoo reviewed JAE's journey over approximately a decade. He reflected on the organisation's development, raised the issue of declining participation and proposed a unanimous choice of new leadership to support unity and continuity. His guidance emphasised that an association's effectiveness depends on members contributing their time, expertise and networks—not simply on the formal leadership structure.
Outgoing Secretary's institutional engagement Outgoing General Secretary Dr. Sumantra Misra presented JAE's outreach and institutional activities, including engagement related to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy's Concentrated Solar Thermal initiative. His report highlighted the value of maintaining external relationships and communicating relevant opportunities to entrepreneurs. This experience can help inform the new team's programme planning.
The new governing body The elected team comprises Dr. Nandiki Gangadhar Reddy as President, Badri Narayan Samal as Vice-President, Manoj Kumar Nayak as General Secretary, Prakash Kumar Pradhan as Joint Secretary and Arun Purohit as Treasurer. The team can build on JAE's network through mentoring, technical workshops, business exhibitions, industry visits and institutional partnerships.
Turning priorities into action JAE's opportunity is to connect entrepreneurs with knowledge, infrastructure, technical expertise and professional relationships. With Dr. Reddy's emphasis on industrial clusters, incubation and funding connections, the association can explore a more structured approach to green entrepreneurship and sustainable industrial growth in Odisha.
