This innovative flowmeter was created specifically to satisfy the Indian Institute of Technology’s (IIT) exacting standards for water application precision.
IIT’s requirement for a highly accurate liquid flow meter that could handle a flow range of 0.05 Liters per minute (LPM) to 0.5 LPM drove the development of this flowmeter. It was quite difficult to meet such a strict criterion; careful design and manufacture were required. Manas took up the project despite the difficulty and the fact that there are not many producers of these small-range flow meters in the world.

After a series of design revisions and extensive testing, Manas created a 2 mm diameter flowmeter with a half-inch end connection. With the help of this creative approach, accurate measurement is possible in a flow range as low as 30 Liters per hour (LPH).
