Dr. Asif Hussain’s Journey
Dr. Hussain completed his MBBS under the All India Quota from JSS Medical College in Mysore. He then went on to pursue MS Orthopedics under the All India Quota from S N Medical College in Agra. After completing his one-year senior residency in S N Medical College, Dr. Hussain completed a fellowship in arthroplasty, arthroscopy, spine, and complex trauma from some of the most renowned institutions in the world. This includes Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Grenoble, and Germany. He trained under some of the most respected orthopedic surgeons in the world, including Dr. Arun Mullaji, Dr. Dimple Parikh, and Dr. Prof. Sargaglia.

In 2018, Dr. Hussain started his journey in Balrampur and opened ZS Orthopedic Maternity Hospital and Spine Center, where he serves as a senior orthopedic consultant. The hospital provides treatment to over 50,000 OPD patients for various problems, including rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Dr. Hussain has performed over 5,100 surgical procedures, including more than 200 spine surgeries, 200 hip replacements, 100 knee replacements, and 100 arthroscopy surgeries for ACL, PCL, and sports injuries.
ZS Ortho is now a multispecialty hospital and the first in the area to offer IVF facilities, all types of spine surgeries, and a referral center for neglect and revision orthopedic surgeries. The hospital is equipped with a well-equipped modular operation theater, a well-ventilated ICU and NiCu, a PICU, and a referral center for all types of gynecological, surgery, and urology cases. ZS Ortho also provides 24*7 emergency services, an in-house pharmacy, an x-ray DDR system, fetal monitoring NST machine, an HF C arm, an arthroscopy system, a laparoscopy system, and pathology (advanced machinery system).
