Dr Shubham Mahajan, CEO director of Prepsmart Edutech is now all set to enter the luxury segment arena by launching his own brand in ethnic wear. It will cater to the festive seasons & weddings primarily focusing on ultra luxury and fine designs that represent our rich heritage and culture.
Dr Shubham Mahajan is serial entrepreneur and is also a mentor to several other startups and as his own unconventional way of going about startups he is not looking for any funding for this venture. Dr Shubham Mahajan has just been declared for the “Bhartiya Sanman” award which will be taking place in Delhi soon and shall be getting his honor from our president Smt Draupadi Murmu. He has also been featured in 40 under 40 most brightest business leaders in the country by a business magazine.
While talking to Dr Shubham Mahajan we took some insight into this new venture , he said , “This is a wonderful and an enticing sector apart from food and education which he already is. My recent trips to jaipur helped to identify a big market gap and opportunity in this sector where sarees which can be bought at a very marginal price were sold at gold’s rate to tourists and foreigners. Apart from everything else these ethnic wear are made in India by our own people and hence that empowers us and the sales model implemented by us will surely help empower a lot of independent women. The name of the startup along with the logo will be launched on 1st january ,2024.”
Looking at his previous startups and the sky rocketing valuations Dr Shubham also revealed that he has received a lot of offers from his connections to invest or to acquire a stake in his startup at this early stage.
Dr Shubham who recently gave his Tedx Speech in jaipur has indeed converted the trip into a window of new opportunity and venture. We wish all the best to his team and his upcoming venture.
