Allegations of Irregular Conduct by Certain Consultancy Personnel Engaged in State Projects

Jaipur — Multiple representations submitted to state authorities have triggered fresh scrutiny over the conduct of certain consultancy personnel associated with government projects in Rajasthan. The complaints specifically name senior Ernst & Young (EY) officials Siddharth Dutta, Akhilesh Saurakhia, and Gitesh Gunjan, alleging irregularities across different departments.

According to the representations, Siddharth Dutta—linked to the Chief Minister’s Service Delivery Project—has been accused of sharing confidential information and allegedly engaging in questionable financial dealings. The allegations, however, remain unverified and await official examination.

Further accusations have been levelled against Akhilesh Saurakhia, who is alleged to have engaged in unauthorized interactions with officials to influence project-related decisions. Additional complaints claim that he, along with his colleague Aditya Goel, intimidated personnel of other organizations working with the same department. Some officials from the BIP division are reported to have acknowledged such concerns, though no formal confirmation has been issued.

In the Skills Department, representations accuse Gitesh Gunjan of influencing a bidding process by allegedly offering inducements. The complaints claim that such actions may have altered technical evaluation scores by nearly 11 marks. The allegations remain at the complaint stage and have not been substantiated so far.

Media organisations have begun seeking statements from the concerned departments. Several reporters have urged that a formal inquiry committee be constituted to evaluate the claims thoroughly. Officials have indicated that the matter may soon be placed before competent authorities for procedural review.

EY and the individuals named have not yet issued any public responses. The situation is expected to evolve as departments decide on the next steps.
