October 2026 Smartphone Launches: Vivo V80, Oppo F35 Series, OnePlus 16 and More in Focus

Mumbai:In the Indian smartphone market, more new launches are expected in the month of October, with brands such as Vivo, Oppo, Motorola and OnePlus ready to add their products to various price bands. The month will likely see a number of additions from camera-focused devices to foldables and other smartphones that boast bigger batteries.

Below are some of the smartphones that are expected and confirmed to make headlines during October 2026.

Vivo V80

Vivo has confirmed the launch of the Vivo V80 for October 6. The smartphone is set to feature a Zeiss co-engineered triple rear camera system comprising a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

For selfies, the device will feature a 50MP front camera. It will also pack a 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W charging, making battery capacity and photography two of its key highlights.

Vivo S2 FE

Another Vivo device expected to arrive in India during October is the Vivo S2 FE. According to reports, the smartphone could feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset.

The device is also tipped to carry a 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging support. Its expected camera configuration includes a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary sensor, a 2MP secondary camera and a 32MP front camera.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo

Motorola could strengthen its Edge portfolio with the expected introduction of the Edge 70 Neo. The smartphone has reportedly appeared on the Android 17 beta sign-up page for India, indicating that an official launch may be approaching.

The device is expected to retain Motorola’s emphasis on a relatively clean Android experience and slim design. Reports suggest that it could use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and offer a 6GB RAM configuration.

Oppo F35 Series

Oppo’s F35 series is another addition to the October smartphone calendar. The new generation is expected to continue the F-series focus on photography, design, video capabilities and durability.

The Oppo F35 Pro is tipped to feature a 10,000mAh battery and a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Reports also suggest that the device could be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.

Vivo X Fold 6

The premium foldable segment could also see fresh activity with the expected arrival of the Vivo X Fold 6. The device is reported to feature an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.51-inch cover display, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. On the camera front, the foldable is tipped to offer a 200MP primary camera with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. A 7,000mAh battery is expected to power the device.

OnePlus 16

OnePlus is also preparing its next flagship, the OnePlus 16, with its China launch confirmed for October 12. The smartphone is set to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.

Reports indicate that the flagship could feature a 9,000mAh dual-cell battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Its expected rear camera system includes a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.

Oppo Find X10 Series

Oppo’s flagship Find X10 series is also expected to expand beyond China later in October. The lineup includes the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max, with camera systems developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.

Both models are reported to feature 200MP primary and 200MP periscope telephoto cameras. The Find X10 Pro Max is expected to add a 200MP ultra-wide camera, while the standard Find X10 is reported to feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

The Find X10 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chipset, while the Pro Max uses the Dimensity 9600 Pro. Both devices are reported to carry 8,000mAh batteries.

With larger batteries, high-resolution cameras, faster processors and foldable designs featuring prominently across the expected launches, October 2026 could offer smartphone buyers new choices spanning the mid-range and premium segments.
