Summary Of The Book:
1. Can you tell us a little about your book?
The book is culmination of various short poems that I have written as I grew in life. The book tries to capture different emotions that we all go through every moment of our life.
2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out of the blue idea?
I started my career very early in life around 18 years (while many others were still enjoying youth). I had to face harsh reality of life quite early in life and I was alone. To overcome that feeling and to express myself, I started writing and then it continued till this date.
3. What got you writing in the first place?
I was gifted an audio cassette pack of TV series, “Mirza Galib”. I started listening to it and eventually got to see the tv series as well. The life of Mirza Galib and voice of Jagjit Singh sahab made me think that writing is best medium to express what I could not express otherwise.
4. What was your impression of your first draft when you read it?
I was surprised to see that I have written them .
5. Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?
The very first poetry. “Maut”, connects me deeply. I recently lost my younger sister and couple of years before, I lost my elder brother (father like figure). The reality again danced in front of me with loss of these 2 lives and I wrote this poem. There are 2 realities on earth, Life & Death. All else is just illusion.
6. What makes your book the one to read?
This book is for those who wants to live their emotions or they want a medium that connects to their core and helps them express their emotions. The book is to be read with heart not eyes.
7. What was the best advice you got while writing?
The best advice was given by my wife, she handed over me the diary (I usually write in that) and she said you should get it published. That’s what got me to publish.
8. Who’s your all-time favourite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?
OSHO
9. What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?
Don’t think about perfection, write your heart and get it in front of people. There is no right path, any path is right that helps you express without hurting anyone.
10. What was your hardest scene to write?
It’s a poetry book. And I firmly believe poetry cant come out on paper with thinking, its like the nature gifts it to individual and that comes at right moment. At time 1 poem I could not complete even in 15 days and sometimes it took only 15 min.
11. Do you have another plot brewing?
I love writing. So, yes! I am writing many more stories, and I am willing to share them all with my beloved readers in the future!
