New Delhi: The trailer of the upcoming Hindi suspense thriller courtroom drama ‘Love Lottery’ was unveiled at a special press conference in Delhi. The launch brought together lead actors Akshay Oberoi, Vijayant Kohli and Agni Agyari, along with director Arvind Pandey and producer Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’. The event also saw the participation of several families who shared their personal experiences of being affected by what they describe as the misuse of women-centric laws.
Produced under the banner of Cinema-Ganj Films, ‘Love Lottery’ explores the complicated side of modern relationships, where love, marriage, mistrust and betrayal come together in unexpected ways. The film combines its social subject with suspense, courtroom drama and emotional twists, keeping the central mystery under wraps.
The 2-minute-10-second trailer immediately sets up a series of questions. Behind the picture-perfect world of modern relationships lies a darker side filled with deception, emotional manipulation and the hollowness of relationships built on pretence. Marriage, divorce, betrayal and marriages driven by money all find a place in the trailer, adding more layers to an already intriguing story.
Once of the striking elements of the trailer is its sharp and sensitive dialogue. A particularly provocative line — “A woman can truly belong to only two people: her own child and herself” — reflects the film’s take on relationships, individuality and personal rights. The dialogue adds another layer to the emotional confrontations seen throughout the trailer.
Akshay Oberoi, who plays the central character, appears to be at the heart of the film’s questions around trust, marriage and men’s rights. Heli Daruwala and the ensemble cast bring their own shades and mysteries to the story, making it difficult to guess where the truth actually lies.

‘Love Lottery’ is produced by Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ under the banner of Cinema-Ganj Films and directed by Arvind Pandey. The story and screenplay are by Ankur Khattri.
The film stars Akshay Oberoi and Heli Daruwala in the lead, with Kabir Duhan Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Hemant Pandey, Indira Krishnan, Santosh Shukla, Vikram Sharma, Agni Agyari, Kumar Saurabh, Ashwant Lodhi and Arshdeep Sandhu in pivotal roles. The cinematography is by Navin V. Mishra, with music composed by Varun Mishra and Arvind Pandey. The film has been edited by Prakash Jha. ‘Love Lottery’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 18, 2026.
