MumbaiAfter the success of ‘Border 2’, Ahan Shetty is back in action – literally! The actor begins shooting for his next film “Sanki”, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai of “Rustom” and “Mission Raniganj” fame.
Written by Gyanendra Vasudev, “Sanki” is a love story at heart, with loads of emotions and some raw and explosive action. The film will go on floors in Bhopal on October 30th.
After his fine portrayal in ‘Border 2’ and the film’s massive success, Ahan waited and picked his next projects with a lot of caution. The results have paid off. Ahan begins with “Sanki”, which will be followed by Vikram Bhatt’s ‘1920 Cold Winter’ and a couple of more films, slated to go on floors in 2027.
Director Tinu Desai is already in Bhopal with his mammoth crew, giving the final touches to his prep before the real action begins on October 30th.
The subject and the story of the film is still under wraps and the makers plan to unveil each aspect of the film in due course of time.
“Sanki” is produced by We The People, Roaring River Productions and Pals & Peers Entertainment.
The film is set to hit the screens in the first half of 2027.
