Mumbai: The domestic box-office collection of Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan, which features Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar, dipped even further further on Wednesday, September 16. The movie grossed ₹55 lakh net in India on Day 6, chalking up a net of ₹9.30 crore in six days, reports Free Press Journal.
The movie has started with a day one collection of ₹3 crore. Its opening weekend collection was a record ₹7.35 crore (in India). Post the weekend, the collection of ‘Haiwaan ‘ was estimated at ₹70 lakh on Monday and Tuesday with a net collection of ₹55 lakh on Wednesday.
Haiwaan Worldwide Box Office Collection
According to the report, Haiwaan collected ₹10 lakh gross from overseas markets on Day 6, taking its total overseas gross collection to ₹3.25 crore. The film’s reported worldwide gross collection stands at ₹14.36 crore.
The report attributes the domestic collection figures to Sacnilk. Box-office figures are estimates and may be revised.
Haiwaan Budget
The makers of Haiwaan have not officially disclosed the film’s budget. However, the Free Press Journal report cites an estimated production budget of ₹100–115 crore. The report notes that the film’s reported collections remain substantially below this estimated budget.
